2016 is a busy year for us
In 2016 we are busy conducting rap workshops in schools about discrimination. We will welcome rappers from Gaza (March), Egypt (May) and Syria (September) to the country. We have two big projects this year: Hip Hop Hub (a three-year project and national network of hip hop organizations) and RAP:I:STAN (a project for refugee and Danish youth)
Bolivia has been a priority country for us since we were established in 2009. This year, we are embarking on an exiting journey together with our local partner “Khana Aru Imanthata”. We are working on opening a hip-hop centre for indigenous adolescents and youth in the city of El Alto. “Hip Hop Uta” will be a youth-led hotspot for hip-hop!
We continue our partnership with Revolution Records (RR) and Vallekilde Højskole in 2016. We are commited to keep supporting Revolution Records’ efforts to maintain a creative space for Egyptian youth in Alexandria, which we helped establish a few years ago, Also, we can’t wait to welcome the guys from RR back to Denmark later this year.
